Its been old news "though its good to have more confirmation for those that need closure" We known this since they change the PDF's to have the Marketing Campaign in August ( with Trailer) =).

"The Flood" huh, god I hope there really will be enough new stuff to justify the use of that word. Still I'm surprised XIV 2.0 will get less pr time than XIII-2 did. Maybe that game was an exception but wasn't XIII also promoted with videos and bus events for a long time?

If this game is really coming out early next year I wonder if they've already decided it to have a last moment marketing push.

Somehow I doubt it, since if it's Mid August where anything will be released at all besides trailer, that somewhat contradicts the statement of updates on the site "all summer" when Mid August - Sept 22 is barely a full month and not at all 'all summer' xD

Oh well. Hopefully they have more to throw up there besides concept art every week.

Well, we all know "soon" in SEese is a month, so why not take "all summer" as "the last third of summer." lol

Especially when they make the "all summer" statement half way through the season.

I don't know where it is written "all summer", but the date for the promotion campaign was august since the letter in june.
So, from august to somewhere in winter, before 2.0 is in the shops to buy, to bring out many promotion stuff.
