On Windy Meadows is XIV's response to Ronfaure. The shroud needs this in one of their zones.
From what it sounds like, there will be almost no 1.0 music left in ARR. That makes me pretty sad. The music was fine. It just needed better zones to be attached to.
It's good, but it's no Ronfaure. It's more tribal than Celtic. On Windy Meadows is XIV's response to Ronfaure.

Thanks for the info, Rukkirii. I really like the direction they're heading in with sound/music in ARR. And Soken is just amazing. I love the stuff he's composed so far.
I have a feeling they're really going to create some magic in terms of environment and ambiance in 2.0.
I have to disagree with this assessment. I really think the FFXI soundtrack as a whole whoops FFXIV's soundtrack's behind, but the Coerthas music is one of the few tracks from FFXIV that I absolutely adore.Coerthas needs this as its tune.
can finally play ffxiv with music on now that we can toggle off that damn chocobo music.....
Thanalan needs to keep Twighlight over Thanalan. D:
I'm glad they making loops in the music was something I posted about a long time ago ambient sound/music exclamation points can bring life to area greatly if done right.I'm chuffed to bits
