Answers - One of the best? The best?

Just talking with some friends about this song and I have to say, it gives me goosebumps after watching that epic End cutscene. I've totally fallen in love with the song and rate it as one of the all-time greats alongside Liberi Fatali and One Winged Angel. No mean feat considering I have a natural tendency to not find songs in English to be all that amazing. It was done to perfection from start to finish.

Anyone else? What are your favourite Final Fantasy songs before this one came along? Where does Answers rate amongst them?

Actually, I recently (after servers went down) began playing FFVIII again to make a perfect save file (lost my PS1 memory card from ages ago ;_; ) and it has always been, by far, one of my favourite opening sequences in any FF title partly due to the music being so awesome. ^^ This song totally gives me that same kind of "intense" feeling that a song like Liberi Fatali brings to the atmosphere when you're listening to it. The video played perfectly with it, though.

Hayley Westenra would have done a great job if she was able to sing Answers. She's very popular in Japan and has two CDs in which she sings Japanese songs. She has some of her own music featured on two Nintendo Wii games, and they are both on Endless Ocean (the second Endless Ocean having more Celtic Woman songs on there, but Hayley sings a duet with Méav Ní Mhaolchatha on the song "The Last Rose of Summer").

Personally I'm not that big of an answers fan, it's a great song but Calloway's voice kinda grinds on me a bit. She's talented but not really on my list of people I'd go out of my way to listen to more than once D:

I think Liberi Fatali is a firm favorite (hell anything from the FF8 soundtrack), and maybe Angela Aki's kiss me goodbye from FF12 (she has a beautiful voice @_@)

On its own, I wasn't overly impressed... But after it being matched up to the final trailer, I did grow quite a bit more fond of it. ^^;
