All magic is basically black or white magic, black and white just means offensive and defensive (Nukes, enfeeblers, are black)
(Heals, buffs are white)

True <,< lol but since he was semi supporting Time Mage I didn't want to mention I had no clue what he was saying.

Time Mage > Red Mage
first wanted to tell u great treat to talk about FF11 and now FF14 havent add that kind of mage i would agree with you that they should add it just because is a new thing that they havent put it together and there so many cool skills that time mage can do, so i vote yes for this kind of mage to be in the future in FF14
If we look historically at how time magic is handled there is a whole vacuum of possibilities that could be realized. PUN INTENDED. For example, the Demi spells; which would essentially be the Time Mage's damage focus. Various degree's of %Hp depletion by means of aging or black hole etc. When we use teleportation we cannot rule out the possibility of teleporting enemies also. It could be implemented as a unique way of tractoring enemies to your location or moving a creature a few feet to the left before his ability goes off. If we can freeze time, or slow time why not allow for specialized use of this field? Time Mage could potentially heal damage of other characters by rewinding time around them. Could speed up their metabolism and force a "fight or flight response" resulting in an increase in strength, combined with Haste for speed, also. To add to the support role...perhaps there is a skill that inflicts bleeding damage or some various other wound...and the Time Mage can combo this ability by speeding up the bleeding. Another passive way to do damage through support. Thoughts on these ideas?
The meaning of life is that it is to be lived, and it is not to be traded and conceptualized and squeezed into a pattern of systems.
-Bruce Lee

Yah there are virtually endless ways it could be implemented you had some good ideas, I especially like the speeding up bleeding damage :3
