Observation: Post- Impact, does Mor Dhona become a lush jungle?!

This art IS Mor Dohna.

You can see the 1.0 style crystals sticking out of the cliffs on the right side.

It has become a crystalline landscape. (like Lake Bresha in FFXIII)

The snowy zones are in Coerthas (you can see small versions of the illustrations in the 2.0 concept art PDF, page 17)

Huh. I'd been firmly in the "Mor Dhona becomes the ice zone" territory, but now I'm not so sure, being reminded of the concept art.

I don't think we can use "5 years isn't enough time for <X> to grow back" as an argument in general, though - the Black Shroud got shitbeat by Bahamut pretty hard, and it seems like it's growing back nicely. Blame the aether surge!

I think it's about equally likely that they fudged up the continuity on the trailer shot of all of Hydaelyn vs. accidentally uploading a screenshot of the wrong area to the Mor Dhona page. It's an interesting theory, and I'm now looking forward to being able to explore the new Mor Dhona even more.

As in the crystal tower formed around the key of the Twelve? Interesting theory. But that still doesn't explain the massive green landscape where Mor Dhona used to be on that global image. Furthermore, the global image shows a large whitened region to the northwest, presumeably an icy Dravania?

The behemoth and icy mountain range are part of recent trailers, they're most certainly still of actuality. The map that was brought up is as old as the first roadmap and Version 2.0 announcement.

It was yet another piece of evidence that Behemoth is still near the crystal tower and yet likely not Mor Dhona.

You forgot to consider the global image released less than 1/2 a week ago, that clearly shows an absence of snow OR barren wasteland where Mor Dhona resides, due east of the inlet from the strait of Merithor.

Mor Dhona is a little south of where you circled, I believe. It would be more on the border of the brown area and the green area. They did say each current zone is getting split into 3-5 seperate zones, so it could be a desert, a forest, and an icy area for all we know.

In the OP I showed a side-by side of that global image and the official 1.0 world map:



Mor Dhona's center, a.k.a. Silvertear Lake, is clearly marked as due east of the inlet from the strait of Merithor. Dead center of that circle.

Mor Dhona will definitely be in snow, if you watch one of the trailer, they are clearly trying to tell us that the place is frozen and that the key is the Crystal Tower, but I don't understand why our heroes appear in some sort of jungle that look like Mor Dhona before the attack of the Empire and the death of Midgardsormr.

Both area in both maps look the same to me green the only thing i don't see is the lake where Midgardsormr body is and from the picture of the right it seem more desert have move in that area.
