    I wouldn't get my hopes up about porting from beta over. You can hope for the best in that they will, but I'd be expecting them not to.

    Maybe the final version of beta could be saved if there are no major issues found in exping imo.

    If there was some exploit found in beta where exp was too easy to be obtained from what they originally planned maybe they will wipe a few times during beta or if that happens on the last beta test then they would probably have to wipe the final beta save data to make sure everyone is on the same boat when the game launches.

    But in regards to ARR FFXIV we got the 1.0 FFXIV character save data unlike other MMO's where it's a brand new game, so they may just let it slide and keep the data even if there was some exploit getting more exp than usual during beta.
