I was stuck with the Now Loading sickness, I presume this is because Delsus was on the front lines at the Carteneau Flats (why does SE have to have unspellible place names?) and of course I cannot be in two places at once (well that's what I will tell people )

I think I got to experience a whole 10 minutes of it. Lots of imperials wandering around, that's about it. Seeing the cutscene was totally worth it though.

The event on the 10th/11th in-game was just a lot of fighting, running, and R0ing. I don't think you missed anything... I believe the coolest things were the Lv.100 Juggenauts or something.

After that an ending cutscene was released and the servers were shut down. If you haven't seen it already you can find it through the Lodestone, the Official FFXIV website, the FFXIV youtube channel, etc.

Well I expected as much. Thanks for responding. I saw the cutscene...and Wow. My mind = Blown Hope ARR lives up to that kinda hype.
