I'm not looking to start a debate of any sort, I just want to bring something to attention on the topic of challenge in FFXIV in comparison to FFXI.

If you were to take a step back and look at FFXI, is there anything challenging prior to level 50 Pre-expansion, pre-content addition, anyhow?
I don't think FFXIV is in the wrong in this sense.
