    If i could post a link, so,e guy did a nice talk about demons and how its not that hard.

    To paraphrase is a game isn;t hard just cuz you die alot. That demon souls just make death well.. a epic kick in the taco/grapes.

    Personally games are as easy or hard as you make it. Games are just suppose to be fun. I find it a lame excuse that an aggro icon takes away fun for ppl. I see nothing wrong with it. Its like checking mobs and seeing them as Increadibly tough. Just minus the checking. Just because the game gives you icon or hints, its not making the game easy mode. Easy mode is having enamies die to fast you level up wicked fast and don't die as much or at all.

    I think ppl are letting their hate for WoW ruin their experience for ffxiv. Just play the game and have fun. Stop stressing out over it.

    I actually played FFXI since before the american launch, so I am actually referring to the first years. I don't even know how it has become lately. And from the little I hear, I probably don't want to.

    Also when i say i want the game like 11 i am also saying like 11 the first 3 ~4 years. I loved how hard things were in the game because when you finished you were like "WOOHOOOO!!!!!" You dont have that fealing in 14 really. Its like ohh ok cool i passed that. 11 is so Jacked up now. Level Synch parties , Abyseea ( witch to me ruined 11) you can go from 75~90 in like 6 or 7 hours. Sea access is duo or soloable now. Most NM/HNM are duo/solo/trio now.

    What i miss from 11 that i have yet to find in 14 is how as a group you got something done. And your like hell yeah "WE" did it. Now its like Cool i did it....NOw what?

    i admit, i love those too, but if the game is hindering me from playing the game as fun, then i cant really say i love it. thus the real reason as of now the game isnt fun yet to be played. And still hopping we're able to progress the same as the party plays... . I mean, i dont have the time now to play except 3-4 days in a week, still with the way it is now.. is really hard for me to play :C

    i guess what gets me i that a MMO never really ends. And people wanna get to the MAx" as fast as thay can. Well if a game never ends per say should it really matter how fast you get there? Like in 11 played 7 years but never once was like ok this game is takeing to long to get the the end...because there was no end. Adding new content makes the game and story neverending. So if it take someone who has less time to play more time to gain a max level IMO ohh well the game isent ending anytime soon your not missing anything. Just that your jurny will take longer but in the end you will make it. Thats how i look at that. Just a side note.

    ffxi was a better game before TOAU and the cop noob patch, and ffxiv i already see it starting as a easy thoughtless game and becomming even more so in the future thanks to lazy people who dont want to try and play the game just have everything instantly.

    Exactly what i have ben trying to say. Everyone wants everything and thay want it now and thay want it fast and thay dont want to work for it Ala reflection of typical everyday world events right outside your door

    And that is what i ment when i say take what works in 11 but dont make 14 11. You take what works and use it. Like all the cosmetics in 14 you could use 11s. ( the controller systems , menu interface , basic functions) And things like Skillchains and majic bursts. Battle regiment is to complex and if you have no one to link with you , your not productive because your in idle mode until you cancle it or link it.

    Bad idea. You want them to make a good game or slam their faces against a wall in a mix of frustration/boredom?

    Final Fantasy XI is a dated game, people. I challenge anyone who disagrees to make a new character and try taking it up to 30 with all the context that gaming has gone through since its release.

    Also, "watered down Final Fantasy game?"

    When has there ever been a "hard" Final Fantasy?
