    No, I'm saying I want a new experience that borrows themes not whole systems.

    I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders. Thank You SE, Thank You Community Team, Thank You Yoshi-P.

    That's what Final Fantasy is all about - Pulling from it's predecessors with a new storyline and new character progression system, XIV already has the "new system", now it's time to pull from XI or this game will go no where because XI had all of the basics rights and overwhelming amount of content systems.

    And that is what i ment when i say take what works in 11 but dont make 14 11. You take what works and use it. Like all the cosmetics in 14 you could use 11s. ( the controller systems , menu interface , basic functions) And things like Skillchains and majic bursts. Battle regiment is to complex and if you have no one to link with you , your not productive because your in idle mode until you cancle it or link it.
