Well its ben a week and still there are a few changes. One being the target system. Basicaly its a option between the 1st option we had and the one thay added a month ago.
But after playing the game i have noticed alot of things SE really needs to do to get this bad boy off the ground. Most of what i will say is a broken record i know but bear with me.
First thing. The UI is to small. The party list is small , the Linkshell,battle text is too small and i play on a 32 lcd T.V
Second thing the Linkshell list really REALLY needs to be fixed. After the reset of the servers MORE people have quit. And i really hate seeing all the clutter on my linkshell list with members who do not play anymore.
Third the game is to easy. WAY to easy. When thay added a agro mark on the mob it took away the am i going to die it took away the sport of it all. Most everything in the game you can solo. Party play dosent matter unless your going to kill NMs thats really it. You can solo to 50 you can solo all your missions all your quests. So whats the point in haveing group play or a community of players when everyone can be a solo player.
Fourth This game has no direction. The class's have no real use. No belonging its like there just there. The Agro system is Wack , Hate control is Wack , Econ is Wack , When you get to 40~50 in the game it slows down . Because there is nothing to do. Sure you can level something else to 50 but its the same dull process over and over and over.
Battle regiment system is a good idea but to use it is Wack. First que an attack or spell next WAIT....Then WAit...Then Wait... to see if anyone else is going to que a spell or attack to link with yours all the time your inactive WAITING for someone to link until you cancel it or link it. So what was wrong with Skillchains and magic bursts from 11 again?
In a nuttshell this game will be amazeing IF SE can find its roots. Really i suggest thay go back and play FFXI for 3 weeks. And mix and match things from 11 into 14. Thay had a lot right in 11 and now there fighting over there selves trying to figuer out how to fix 14 when the awnser is right there pokeing them in there eyes. Now im not saying make 14 into 11. What im saying is if the wheel is round why change it.
Simple things are hard to do. And Some things that could be hard to do are easy. If you fail a Mission you can retry it right then and there. In 11 MOst missions if you fail you have to wait 24 hours to reattempt. This is an example of takeing something from 11 and adding it to 14. Along with Chocobos and Airships :P
