I remember pausing the movie in that moment and going "Wait, he's flying behind Limsa..!! He's f*$&ing huge!!!" I think we're around the size of his eye!

Get Dragoons to jump into his eyes, blind him, then Dragonfire Dive into his decimated eye sockets and blow his head up, Bahamut duo'd. Easy.

OP, I can't get the idea of "The Spine of Bahamut" out of my head. >.>
* The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.
* Design ideas:
Red Mage - COMPLETE (https://tinyurl.com/y6tsbnjh), Chemist - Second Pass (https://tinyurl.com/ssuog88), Thief - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/vdjpkoa), Rune Fencer - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/y3fomdp2)

Phew! What a relief!
From the thread title I thought this topic might have been well beyond the Forum Guidelines.
I actually kinda think, for being encased in something large enough to be seen from space, he actually was really small. There were some Gurren Lagann scaling issues there for sure, but whatever.
Also we're definitely fighting him at some point, that's not even up for discussion. Probably not on our own; I imagine we're gonna have some kind of NPC aid for sure after how big he's been built up.

One of my predictions is that we will have to use atomos to drain aether from him and weaken him to defeat him and seal him again.I actually kinda think, for being encased in something large enough to be seen from space, he actually was really small. Also, about the size, we don't know how fast he was approaching and how far was it originally, keep in mind that Dalamud was crashing at a really slow pace.
Lalafell bomb: Light them on fire and toss. Duck behind a rock and wait for the roar or the screams of beautiful lalafell agony.
Drop items once defeat of the enemy has come to pass: Year supply of Lalafell Ears
I think we may be looking at the eventual FFXIV equivalent to FFXI's Airship fight...
Also: Genius plan to take down large creatures.

We'd have to know exactly how it is that Ishgard deals with dragons, first.
