to be honest, i could even go far to say SE somehow in an odd point of view made some kind of utopia without even noticed it that the real issue is the money is still tradeable, im playin in 2 diferent servers cause i have friends i did meet from ffxi in both, and in both servers people seems to have build a culture of pass/give away old outfit to new members rather than sell it back, and believe me i was amazed to find out it was in both servers and no, its not only cause they my friends, everyone seems like that way and i bet its not only on the 2 servers i am playing at.

Even me, beign "poor" compared to other people on my LS have passed away old gear to new gamers when i have less than 100K gils, and it seems not hurt much my pockets, i recover gil easy to take care of me self, seems like the lack of money is only the first 1~10 ranks of your first job
