Would be nice but I'd rather Yoshi-p devote more time to the development of the game itself. We don't need weekly videos or updates. I'd be fine with a small monthly update, or maybe even a small forum post letting us know things are running smoothly.I think it is up to them to keep us on hype for ARR. IMHO, they should:
- release a timetable of events/conditions to be met before launch and update it often (remember the table of new patch content in every letter from producer? same thing);
- release a timetable of content planned for release and check when content has been confirmed;
- release a weekly letter from producer with news on ongoing tests, some new screens and news about ARR (i.e. details on Free Companies, Housing, Crafting/Gathering classes, Combat System, etc...);
- release a new video of game-play every week;
- (possibly) release a table of content planned for after release of ARR in subsequent patches/expansions (SMN job, new mounts, new dungeons, etc...). Same as the one inside old producer letters.
