The land is covered by a blanket of clouds in darkness. Meteors hurl across the skies towards the ground scaring the landscape as Dalamud looms ominously overhead falling ever so gradually. A battle ensues at Camp Brittlebark between the Grand Companies of Ezorea and the Garlean Empire while the leaders of the three great city-states of Ul'dah, Limsa Lominsa and Gridana watch from a cliff above. A Garlean airship sails forward high above the engaging battle with Gaius van Baelsar at the helms looking onward, ahead of the ships designated path. A Black Mage and two others near him cast Fire and Thunder at a group of Garlean magitek cannon to stop their continuing range assault. A Warrior charges into the onslaught flailing his axe around, striking down any Garlean soilders that cross his path. He then stops and lifts up his face guard to gaze up upon Dalamud in the sky. Suddenly, the Warrior is attacked and wounded by an array of Garlean (Musketeers/Gunbladers?) shooting from a far. The Warrior is rescued by a Bard who fires her arrows at them casts Paeon of War on the warrior. The Bard and Black Mage, who stood preparing another Fire spell, protect the Warrior as a White Mage uses Cure to tend to his wounds. They are then joined by a Paladin Shield Bashing a two engaging Garleans in front of them. Recovered from his injuries, the Warrior rejoins the battle with the Paladin Covering and Bard shoots her arrows true covering their attack. The Warrior and Paladin rush in striking down the Garlean's forces using Steel Cyclone and Riot Blade respectfully and leading to the Black Mage that launches another Fire spell at another Garlean magitek. As the battle wages on, Cid nan Garlond stands high on a cliff from a far above the battle and looks up at Dalamud noticing a change on its surface. One of the spikes on Dalamud begins to glow blue and is jetted out from the sphere hurling downward striking the ground with great force knocking out everyone down that stood near the vicinity of the blast radius. Dalamud is shown with a gaping hole on its surface.
Just as all the commotion of the battle slowly settles down, all hell suddenly breaks loose and Dalamud explodes! The surface of Dalamud began to crack at the seams and pieces from it start to fall. A pair of wings protrude out from the top of the scorching sphere that was once Dalamud and a dragon head is shown lifting out from the ablaze rubble. Bahamut soars once more... Exacting its vengeance from being imprisoned inside Dalamud for ages, Bahamut launches a full scale attack of tremendous and devastating power and starts wreaking havoc, chaos and destruction upon the beloved land of Eorzea. The five fellow adventures gaze in shock as Bahamut destroys everything in its wake with its ferocious attack. Louisoix shields the adventures from near catastrophe, however, the barrier isn't strong enough to withstand the attack and it breaks. Louisoix tries to reform the shield again, but fails and Bahamut appears hovering from above sweeping the clouds away with its wings roaring at Louisoix. Suddenly, a beam of light shines out of the ground piercing through the clouds. The other members of the Circle of Knowing were praying to the mark stones of the gods and goddesses of the Twelve: Paplymo and Yada at the Nophica's Altar in Gridania, Thancred at the Arrzaneth Ossuary in Ul'dah and Y'shtola at the bird monument that overlooks the Anchor Yard in Limsa Lominsa (or what's left of it). With the prayers heard by the pantheons who once ruled over their now forsaken land, Louisoix, gathering his strength, reforms the beams of light into spears and uses them to suppress Bahamut holding it in place shocking in ball of lightning. Bahamut becomes encased again inside a sphere that looks similar to Dalamud while a runic circle begins to form around it containing symbols of the Twelve aligned within the grid. Before the spell could be completed, Bahamut breaks free from its entrapment and the sheer force from blast of the failed spell breaks Louisoix's staff in half.
Bahamut then begins to gather power to use Giga Flare (sounds better than Mega Flare) as the five adventures, Cid and the three leaders of the city-states gaze on awaiting there impending doom. With one final effort, Louisoix slams his broken staff on the ground and casts the rune symbol of Althyk, the Keeper in front of him. A field of light is seen encircling the five adventures and transporting them away to an unknown location. Having saved them from the clutches of death, Louisoix welcomes his inevitable fate and faces the emanating light before him, smiling...
Meanwhile in Ishgard at the Gates of Judgement, two Dragoons stood firm standing guard fearlessly.
