Previous FF series character as a guest

Would rather not see characters make a re-appearance, I'd like new characters so the game has its own signature (I think one of SE's problems is riding off previous games success, a la completely killing FF7 with all the spinoffs). Monsters/enemies would be quite neat, though, such as the Magus Sisters

Sorry guys, but after what i've seen in the end movie, I'm not even sure if there's any element from FF7 at all.

In fact, the whole idea really resemblance of FF6, especially the transitioning part between world of balance into world of ruin. Having empire and especially magitek armor are already dead on.

I would say if there's guess appearance from past FF, I would vote for Terra herself, especially since her esper for has close resemblance with elementals from the woods. XD
