Formal request for Spanish as a new language for ARR.

Then let it be a JPN-only game, right? Or do you forget that in this equation, you're foreign too? /facepalm

JP and EN are enough, Most of people understand a little of english at least, i can't understand, write or speak very well but if you want to play you could learn a bit of english at the same time do you play. My main language is spanish and i don't want it to be translated

Also, i tried to regroup spanish playerbase in the same server and it failed, everyone wanted to go to a different place from the others. I see this most important than having the game translated.

Because this isn't a successful MMORPG yet. Even WoW wasn't localized in Spanish or Italian for a long time after release.

Emmm.......... FFXI was a very successful game and u can choose japanese, english, french and german as language. FFXIV will be a successful game, now they say on the live letter that new language will be implemented, why is soooooo bad that one of those languages ​​become spanish, or italian?

Im from Spain, i understand english and im ok with it atm, i also speak a lit of french and japanese, so I can understand the game pretty well now, but it would be nice to include the Spanish also.

Spanish yes, Italian no.
Spanish is spoken all around the world and the markets in the countries in which Spanish is the main language are growing.
It's a more and more important language in the US as well, one of SE's biggest markets.
If another language is added to FFXIV it should be Spanish.

I'm generally not in favor of adding many new languages though because it will just make everything take much much longer because of the localization. The reason why German and French are already used is because they have always been traditionally good markets for games in general (and therefore SE's products too, obviously). Italy...not so much.
Italian is not spoken a lot outside of Italy either so I don't think it makes any sense to have an Italian version of FFXIV.
