We should look at it this way, the longer the down time the better the game will be. FFXIV was rushed from day one, and as a result it was sloppy, incomplete and generally a horrible game. If the game is not up until March, April...May...then so be it. That just means the dev team will have that much longer to make this a stellar game.

So long as there is beta access every once in a wile and we are given a chance to give our feedback, it wont matter how long it takes.

Nothing will keep me away. I don't care what Guild Wars 2 is doing or The Elder Scrolls online. They aren't FF, they don't have chocobos and moogles, or limit breaks and summons. They will never have the charm of a FF game and so they will never truly appeal to me.

My husband and I reactivated XI in the meantime but we only did it so we can go through the story again
So we'll totally be back just waiting to see if we get into testing.

I also don't mind if it takes till march or even a little later. I just don't want them to rush the game just to please people.

Take your time Yoshi-P and make it EPIC!!!! ^_^

I don't care if it takes over a year, most important is they get it right. Also so glad they didn't shelve the game and I think Yoshi is doing a good job. I've never known another game company redesign a game like this, It must of cost SE a fortune. I will be back when ever it is released

That's the thing, this has never been done before, the entire gaming community is watching SE to see if they can turn the game around.

Most companies just pull the plug on a release failure.

Coming back 100% as well. I actually appreciate a little bit of down time, especially during Winter, so I can attend to the backlog of my games
