What really matters for ARR?

After seeing the questions asked in the live discussion, I am greatly upset. I would even say as far as furious with the question posters.
What really matters to you? To me it goes to the bare bones of the game. I wasn't in beta before 1.0 came out, but I'm been playing since the day the CE came out in NA.

Where are the concerns for the tested, retested, and stressed to hell to be sure servers can endure lots and lots of players in 1 region of a map? Where are the questions about the battle system changes and how weapon skills will combo and chain in ARR? We need more posts about the things that actually are going to make this game last and withstand and not about hair highlights and boob size?

We need to worry about things that really matter people! If you want to look at girl cats with big boobs, pretty sure you can find that on the internet. Don't cheapen this game. This game can be the best, but if devs stop extra work for that last ditch stress test to tweak character development to make boobs bigger or so you can visit a NPC hair stylist at 20gil a visit, I will hate you.
I will even gladly wait a little longer if I don't get into a beta test for FFXIV, save some money and hit the gym longer if it'll mean this game is going to come out as bad ass as Naruto was versus Pain.
"Prettiness" can be nice to look at, but wasn't 1.0 a pretty game? All the time I spent playing in 1.0 it was beautiful. It was frustrating and boring after a bit, but I never got bored riding my chocobo through The Black Shroud to Thanalan.
That's my two cents on that.

I agree with you but I also want to add a few things.

Players did ask questions in regards to open world content, open world grinding for exp so forth and so on but it seems that Yoshi didnt answer the tough questions or refused to answer for whatever reason (unless theres more to come on that).

Things that worried me and I am sure a lot of other players is that it seems as though the open world will be nothing but eye candy or kinda like just a lobby. No open world grinding that would be very efficient and that players will be forced to quest or run dungeons to gain their exp (again not all players want to quest or run dungeons for exp).

HNM's that are open world so others can watch other players win or lose, it seems everything will be instanced to the point that players will be hand held all the way to cap with very little choice.

Summoner or arcanist will get 1 summons only (with the possiblity of getting more later), but we already have an answer to this question and all we have to do is look at FFXI as it took them years to add more summons if you will.

The fact is SE didnt learn from their mistakes in the past and continue to make the same mistakes, but the big question will be: At what cost to them (SE). Only time will tell and alpha and beta will answer alot of questions that Yoshi either cant answer or out right refuses to answer. If 2.0 dosent cater to all player bases, if the UI and evrything else isnt up to par than this may well be the 1st Final Fantasy title to fail, not to mention SE will never recover the amount of money they spent making 1.0 or 2.0.

When SE dances around 90% of the questions of substance, we might as well ask them ridiculous filler questions and get some sort of comic answer.

You're complaining because they did not talk about what you wanted to hear. Almost everyone could make a topic like that. Sadly, they can't cover everything, and there are people caring even about that. Sooner or later we'll hear more about other stuff. Waiting on some parts of the info won't kill us

I wanted to learn more on the server infrastructure. Since we are all moving to yet another server I would like to know more about this significant change. Well, we have a couple of months to go. 1: people don't ask questions that have already been asked and answered a ton of times (well, some do, but they get rightfully ignored).
2: developers select questions that they're ready to answer.
3: get over yourself.

Because sex sells. And they have to sell the game.
