This wouldn't be the least bit surprising. My friend and I discussed this last night that until we see a body (or hell, even a spirit) we have no truth as to whether their death actually happens and could easily come back. An end surely for the cutscene but we have nothing to go on the fact that he's gone, also is no one concerned about our fearless leaders? I've been wondering about that since moment one...what happened to eh people we served under and valiantly defended in the final hour?![]()
Some friends of mine think he's going to come back as Ramuh. Of course they don't have a firm understanding of the primals, but you never know...
I would loooooovee to see Louisoix play a Final Fantasy rendition of ghandalf from Lord of the Rings. (If he hasn't already... lol)
Many of SE's storylines do pay homage to other stories.
It's not unlikely that he will reappear but as Ramuh I cannot say, that seems a little far fetched...
Hmm.... in a more twisted way, after he sent all of us to wherever he sent us, he defeated Bahamut, BUT in order to do that, he absorb all its evil turning him into... BAHABMUT!!! Similar to FFX, he will also be one of the endgame of ARR![]()
Hah, before I even finished reading your post, I knew exactly what you were getting at.
I don't know if they'd copy FFX so closely, but I could definitely see their respective energies interacting. I mean, if Lousioux did die, wouldn't his pure energy as an archon affect Bahamut in some way?
Ha ha yeah, I don't think they'll copy it so closely either, just a fun imagination of mine. The more I think about it, the more I can't wait for ARR!Hah, before I even finished reading your post, I knew exactly what you were getting at.

The fade to white as opposed to black was to indicate he was second away from being hit with Giga/Megaflare in the face. I don't think he survived...but I do think the Primals ended up doing something about Bahamut.
Louix has that calm before death look..there's no mistake about it. He just accepted his fate, knowing he did what he could to preserve mankind and our future.
