The man needs to stay dead.
He went out like a goddamn hero, did everything in his power despite how hopeless it all seemed.
Bringing him back, would just cheapen it all.
May he live forever, in a bards tavern song.
If they end up doing a shrine or whatever can we still get our primal battle repeat quests from it?

I keep watching the video over and over and I'm still not sure he died. When they show the adventurers being ported out, they all faded into a white light too. What if Louisoix did the same thing and his smile was a way to tell Bahamut that while the lands may have been destroyed, he did not accomplish his goal of total annihilation of the people of Eorzea? Just my thoughts...![]()

If we can't get our primal battle repeat quests from Louisoix can we get them from Gandalf?
I am pretty sure this is mentioned... at least I hope it has been... Louisoix is an Archon, from the lore we got, they are the bodily form of the gods something like that, interesting fact, That I don't know how many know about, Thats exactly what gandalf was, he was a higher being that can't die, if he does he just comes back in a different form, like he did in the Lord of the Rings books/movies.

Well Gandalf was a little different. The Maiar (Gandalf's race) can die. Whilst they are ageless they can be killed by wounds. Saruman died after all. Gandalf was resurrected by Eru, so he could complete his task.I am pretty sure this is mentioned... at least I hope it has been...
