    Where was Wandering Minstrel?

After tears(manly ^_~) stopped flow, and somehow i was also spared when in the last moments of our final march, here from the void I'm now, I find time to think about all what happened to our beloved World, it still on my mind( http://lodestone.finalfantasyxiv.com...eor/index.html :P) our last moments on that epic battle field, some great questions still.. why so little faith in The Twelve... more faith was able to save us? and enclosure again what reveals to be a mystery beast of world destruction born from the Red Moon Dalamud itself... even with all these questions burning in my mind, surprisingly i wonder: Where was the Wandering Minstrel? Is he at the end off this mysterious blue light tunnel who pulling me to its center(FFXIV 2.0 launch day^^), is he there with arms open and ready to say, "It was all a nightmare my adventurer friend"? If this is the end of us all(FFXIV Chars ) hope we are able to Reborn, there's so much things to be done, so many friends to have a last moment of peace and say goodbye... my consciousness falling again.. all that destruction engraved in me was hunting me again in this "slumber"(to wake up on FFXIV 2.0) of mine... hope that blue light who is pulling me help me find some rest... or.. another battle to fight! Another chance to my sword strike and my shield protect the ones I love...

Meta game off: Thank's for all friends around, many peoples from Gungnir, or even friends who post here on forum and I read, laugh, cry, angry! but never replied, thank you all! And specially, for all the team involved in the game, from the very start till all the great future it holds, Thank you, Arigato! oh, and Master Y_P, you can rest a little now, but not too much, or else the schedule nightmare from the depths of Dalamud will come wake you up in terror!(Hildibrand wakening you up with his enormous smile a few centimeters from your face, that! that is terror for me! :P) ty vm all, cya on 2.0!

    ^_^!

    AJ

PS: what you all think happened to Wandering Minstrel? I hope he's alright and was spared like many other NPC's we all love^^, Hildibrand for me is a MUST in FXIV 2.0 and GC Leaders too, and of course, but not to start it here, because we have a post for it already, Louisoix, it's simple impossible we stay without him on 2.0, i accept then all even as ghost/spirits but i think we NEED then all!

Yeah, he's probably still in prison. I wouldn't be surprised if he has a hand in 'rebuilding' the new realm. This would fit the storyline and the metaphor for Yoshi P IRL.

If whatever you're shooting doesn't die after you pump 8, 32 caliber, slugs into it, it's probably a dragon.

Hm, I keep feeling like people who are saying we were thrown "forward in time" are inaccurate since I believe the Quest where you pray at each stone foreshadowed what would happen to the adventurers. By praying we were pretty much offering out life force to help create the seal/obtain the blessing from the 12/13 so that the threat which turned out to be Bahamut would go away. When the seal finally appeared the adventurer's soon disappeared becaused they are the catalyst which empower the seal.

Something occurs 5yrs later that causes them to no longer be in slumber within the seal but it is unclear as to what it is. Though that will be the most interesting thing to see, to see how things start off from the final encounter to the adventurer's returning 5yrs later. I kind of wonder if anyone who played 1.0 up to x point will start in Brittlebark, would be interesting. Prolly get a unique CS/quest at the start directing you to go to your Grand Company and report back to them, then maybe get a little backstory over changes made in last 5yrs lol.

To Airget: I respectfully disagree. I think we were 'warped' by Louisoix as a last resort when the seal didn't work, and Bahamut was readying megaflare. Louisoix knew we would never survive Megaflare and warped us out of harm's way. Like a true sacrificial hero, he stayed, though it is unclear why. Did he run out of time to warp himself? Is he incapable of warping himself? Would his sacrifice put an end to Bahamut and unleash the power of the twelve? It seems he knows something we don't. But... the REAL question here is... where did we go? I can only think of three routes they could go with this.

Was the 'warp' technically a teleport, sending us to another area of land that Bahamut could not reach? Despite Bahamut razing all of the current area, he didn't seem to directly touch any of the main cities, despite his prison/egg/thing throwing down embers/meteors upon those areas. If it WAS a teleport, we will be tasked with rebuilding our land from the ground up.

Was the 'warp' technically a warp to the future? Was he sending us forward in time, so that we could avoid the death and destruction that would occur and be preserved until Bahamut could be contained by the twelve, and we could begin rebuilding the world?

Was the spell he cast technically a way of returning us to the world's essence (IE -- the 'crystal'), where we will be preserved until it's safe to come out?

People disagree on these three options, but I'm personally rooting for option #1, if only because the spell really did seem like a teleport to me.

Well being thrown forward in time is probably the best/easiest way to describe it. FFXIV's final CG was essentially the embodiment of old FFs.

    From FF7: Meteor (threat/impact)
From FF9: Bahamut wrecking havoc on cities/lands
From FF6: Empire threat/fight (world of ruin/balance as well)
From FF5: Reborn world and sealed threat that is released
From FF8: Time Distortion/travel/tampering (whatever you want to consider it)

I'm sure there are many others people could point out.
