    Alternative to final event: Release CG trailer early, official apology

    As of right now, this event simply can't be done on the 1.0 architecture. At least not with all your current paying customers having an equal chance to get in.

    I honestly can't blame SE (since the 1.0 servers are, for lack of a better word, terrible), but those who were looking forward to the event need some consolation from this.

    Releasing the trailer now and posting an official apology would at least save people the frustration of continually hitting time out errors.

    The atomos event was enough of a given that the servers wouldn't be able to handle this one.

    But i'm still glad they made the effort to atleast try to do something nice for everyone.

    ...Yet everyone still complains.

    Yep. This is terrible. Logged in with friend. We killed an imperial (YAY) then we got insta-booted (BOO!).
