There's no reason why people should be telling us to consider the effects of their company image, that's their issue and they have people for that sort of thing. No one on these forums knows a lick about how it would effect their sales.
I mean even Yoshi-P himself asked for our opinions on it and we are giving it to him.

I don't think the issue is so much that its for or against it, but rather SE's decision on how to go about it and protect their interests at the same time. That they even brought this topic up in the Live broadcast was a bold step for them, which I applaud.

It really is more about finding a solution to implement it from a marketing standpoint. In an ideal world, this would not be an issue, but sadly we live in a real world where beliefs are different from our own. Society will eventually evolve from this, but until then, I support SE's idea of treading carefully.

People see the word "choice" and jump like ravenous hounds at fresh meat without trying to understand what the other person is trying to say. I used two words in direct proximity to one another and woke the hounds, and it was not my intent. Instead of going out for blood, ask for clarification. All you did was encourage a fistfight.
