That is a consideration in my view, and the very active mother community far exceeds the LG community. Chic filet is still around... where did JoeCamel go? get my point? Not trying to be mean or rude with that comment, but thats how I see itLooking from a business view you could also say that getting the ire of the LG community so no good either. From a business point of view I still think Bethesda did it excellently.
Also the assumption and past experience says the event would be done in an instance where only those that want to be involved are involved.

I agree entirely

I have a different idea, after some reflection i have decided we should be able to officially get married inanimate objects in the game.... no longer will a pixel be ashamed to have special moments with other pixel items... even better i should be able to get hitched to my chokobo, probably get to ride that thing more often then you would any other pixel generated thing in the game..
way i see it SE should let us just get married to anything from bow to harp to great axe.....

I'll amend my proposal.
"Dear SE, Please create a non-discriminatory ceremony in which a player could declare their love and commitment to one more people or objects in the game (of any gender)."

You go make your tool thread for that twiddle, this is for a different discussion.I have a different idea, after some reflection i have decided we should be able to officially get married inanimate objects in the game.... no longer will a pixel be ashamed to have special moments with other pixel items... even better i should be able to get hitched to my chokobo, probably get to ride that thing more often then you would any other pixel generated thing in the game..

And I think there would be participant limits based on either lore or game contents/items obtained from the ceremony. It wouldn't do to have some endgame ls demand everyone wed the guild leader.

Correct me if i an wrong, please do... the discussion is, can pixel [A] get married to pixel [B]. Now what [A] and [B] represent should technically not mater this being a game and all.. How ever what's adding fuel here is that SE currently will only allow the ceremony of [A] and [B] if they are tagged differently. That's as far as the argument goes... I don't care or give a damn for that matter if you are for/against/behind/in front of the SSM idea, take your idea else ware... going by in game lore it's M+F, end of debate... I don't care if SSM impacts you in R/L, this is not real life, it's a game and the further away it is from the perversion of real life the better of the game will be..

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!. This argument has been kept alive by people relating it to RL. Thanks for summing it up perfectly.
