I didn't want you in my endgame instances anyway! Actually TERA has more action than Final Fantasy XIV will ever have, but in TERA jumping is stupid, because, realistically, if you get hit while you're jumping, you end with your butt on the ground.

I guess only Rokien could advocate the fact that jumping without restriction has anything to do with a MMORPG being "action".

I agree the jumping was annoying, but what would be even stupider is putting a timer on something that has no real relevance even in combat. Wait till the novelty of jumping is removed and you wont have so many players doing it, and those who continue to do it, really who gives a damn? turn the other way if you are so uptight about it.

I'm glad SE seems to not care much about the North American whining. Some opinions are necessary, while some aren't constructive at all and are just completely needless whining like those who whine about jumping and grass graphics.

He asked testers to jump so show how the game handles all of those people at one spot doing different unique animations. Not everyone was jumping. People were also emoting and casting and fighting as well. This was actually one of the things they had outlined to test before getting to this video.

They got to a point where it started to break the servers then fixed it. They were just showing off what they accomplished. There is no way nor no going back from jump. It had resources go into it and it's what every modern MMO has. They'll rather keep it and have you select minority feel unhappy than to do something completely idiotic like turn it into an ability with a timer on it. Why? Because it's what MMO players general want. Stop looking at this with the audacity that this game is being made for just you rather than many.
