I just bought the game and installed it. I noticed right off the bat during character creation I was getting a very delayed response to anything I was selecting. Once in the game the videos ran like stills that run approx 15 seconds behind the sound. Press any key to move and 15 seconds later the character moves and it's super choppy. The data transfer also shows as less than 20 either way.

System
Vista Home Premium 32 SP2
AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual core processor 4800+
(contributing factor that I noted) 2G of RAM
Nvidia GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 250M memory running the latest driver 8.17
Qwest DSL 100 Mbps

Use the recommended settings and it looks good but runs horribly, knock it all the way down to the lowest settings (external config program) and it both looks and runs horribly. In game config I have almost everything turned off that would effect memory and processor load. All the while no change in performance. Same applies to standard settings as well as you can guess.

Aside from bumping up my RAM is there anything there that stands out to anyone that knows a fair amount about this technical and spec related business that would be reasonable to upgrade or needs to be? A new PC is not in the budget any time soon nor would a PS3 for whenever that launch ends up being.

Same question, new thread...and I apologize for that. Trying to translate more technical answers to questions that may not exactly be what I'm experiencing is difficult on a couple of levels.
