Thank You FFXIV Team and Players

I'd just like to give my thanks to the team who worked on FXIV.

Despite the odds, the critics, and all the negative media, you managed to deliver a genuine Final Fantasy experience by the end of version 1.0. These last 2+ years have been filled with a place to meet adventurers from around the globe. We all traveled together and experienced the good and the bad together.

I'd like to commend the players as well for sticking it out. Our support has been a key to helping 2.0 develop. Many of you I look forward to playing with again in 2.0. Without a strong community, no game can succeed. The FF playerbase is a different breed. I hope more players are attracted to it as we go forward.

Also, thank you Yoshi-P. Your vision for FFXIV is a breath of fresh air for the series, and embodies exactly what I have envisioned in the series past present and future. I am extremely excited to be a part of FFXIV 2.0. The future is bright with this game, and I believe the future of Final Fantasy is in great hands.
