We are a group of mature group of experienced MMO gamers that enjoy clearing content, but like to keep it casual at the same time. Our experience starts as far back as Ultima Online, as recent as Guild Wars 2, and everything in between. Our linkshell is primarily based out of US time zones but we have and welcome members from all over the world.

Requirements
- You must be at least 18 years old. (children of members are welcome to join but, must be at least 15 years old and must abide to the same linkshell rules)
- You must respect others. (no racism, discriminating, or derogatory comments)
- You must be willing to level at least 2 different combat oriented roles.
- *You must have and be willing to use Mumble for voice communication. (It's okay if you can only listen, this is for communicating during raids & boss fights)
- You must show selflessness. (We will never progress if we refuse to help each other)

*PS3 players are welcome.

To everyone who joined End Linkshell, I thank you. As the end of 1.0 concluded ever so strangely, it is a farewell, for now.

For those who would like to continue your adventures into ARR with End Linkshell, check back here for more information over the coming months, as I promise to keep you updated.

As for the linkshell photos I took, I took a lot of them, so check back here and I should have some links up by the end of the weekend. Thank you for those who participated.

Ok... strange it was.... struggling to stay connected and then getting dropped at 11:59 PST. I guess something happened. Then Lodestone crashed. And SE crashed. And even Pads came back with the message.... server not responding... and then site not responding... But I killed a few Magitek things and a bunch of imperials, so I guess I did most of it.

Somebody please chronicle what happens in the past 2 hours before Dalamud began. XD

They released a video of the end cutscene. You are not alone, many people including me could not experience the end event in real time due to crashes and the only way they can see it is via the vid released. I managed to log in after a bazillion attempts. Got in at like 5 minutes before the event and then got kicked again.

It is a beautiful vid.

Basically, there we're server messages telling everyone to defend Camp Brittlebark, and messages stating enemy forces we're advancing upon Uldah. A lot of us initially ported to Brittlebark, then at 10pm PST, there was a message telling us enemy forces we're approaching from the North West. Most immediately headed NW and we're rewarded with an R0 disconnect, myself included.

After about an hour of trying to get back online, I finally did. I got myself back to Uldah, and I stood outside the city walls waiting for something to happen for the last 30 minutes.

Nothing ever did except, at about 11:55pm PST, this message popped up:

Confound it! We' ve lost contact with the
main host!

It was shown again right before midnight, and moments after midnight struck, everyone received an R0.

There is a msg posted up on the lodestone saying they locked some players out who officially ended their games after Sept 29 but I guess that did not help the problem.

Regarding Login Restriction (11/10)

Currently, we are temporarily imposing login restriction on the players whose "End Date" is September 29, 2012 or before due to congestion. The restriction may be lifted when the congestion is eased.

The other players are able to log in to the game.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding.

That was fun. I was in this family community gathering I can't "avoid". When I do have the chance, I rushed and find myself a cab to rush into my office. Already bringing my laptop and CDMA modem for precaution, which I'm glad since while otw I can successfully login several times only to be kicked out again.

When I got to the office, I rushed to my desk and try endlessly logging my FF14 without success. At this time, it was like about 5 minutes left. And boy... they sure don't give me a chance to go back in again.

So... I'm helplessly had to deal with this newly released end-of-era movie. Had I know this, I would not rush it.

But still... it was such a GREAT show, and sad. Sad that I really have to say goodbye to 1.0 and it's beautiful places.

Can't wait for your full report guys! XD
