Balmung Social Community

Just inside of 12 hours til the end of Eorzea as we know it. I'm sure many of you have come to love our little Balmung server... whether you haled from Besaid or from Fabul, if your like me then your sad to see it go. What comes next is anybodies guess. However, this is the place (besides the Balmung community forums on the Lodestone) for us to continue to interact and stay in touch during Final Fantasy XIV's downtime.

No matter what your race, class, linkshell, Grand Company or home city affiliation is... Balmungians of all shapes and sizes are welcome in the Balmung Social Community.

This community started late, that I am aware of, but the bonds that we've made can withstand any test of time. If you do not plan on sticking around here for the duration of the downtime then that is okay... be confident that when you do return, you will have a place to reunite with past comrades. If you choose to stick it out then we will continue to socialize in other manners and on different games.

Balmung Social Community started out as a simple Mumble server for people to waste time with one another as the end was drawing near. It turned out to be much more than that. We fought side-by-side to push back the menace... united we stood. We took to the sky and went head-on against what seemed to be insurmountable odds. We know of heart-break, failure and defeat... but we also know of sweet victory, jubilation and the treasures that follow.

Know that when the time comes for Eorzeans to once again pick up their equipment and set out to explore lands that may seem quite familiar... that the people you set out with will be familiar as well. Keep your head up, for the future is bright once the darkness dissipates.
