About the hermes shoes - in ARR there is a skill called dash that consumes TP for a boost in movement speed. These boots enahnce that skill so they are not hermes shoes :P

Just half-joking. I mean item stats are getting revamped so what stops them from changing them to work similarly to that, since we get a separate Sprint ability.

I took closer look at latest Alpha video and Dash doesn't cost TP.
Herme's shoes I would be the same but maybe less movement speed duration.

Winged Boots be near best thing for players without FFXI account or just use chocobo like normal person.

It doesn't show the TP cost on the icon, but it does use up all your TP when activated.
