Something I'm just gonna throw out there. I have been in this since beta (like lots of you I am sure) and I do not personally have a relic. I would love one, but the reality is that I never even got past the seals portion because of drop back luck, and to be honest, lack of time. I Even started trying to get together my double meld to have around in case I did and I found the estimated costs astronomical. I think the most I ever had at once time was 17 mil and it simply wasnt enought to buy or build what I needed without considerable luck.

The point I am getting to is that I am all for a challenge, but high cost, long time, random success are not things I consider challenging. I would much rather it be a situation where you have a few fights that are especially difficult (like Darnus hard mode) that you go through, than a long and drawn out repetative process, especially when even the individual steps are based on random chance.

For this reason, I hope they DO make Relics "Easier" to get. Honestly, I have gotten every end game items since they started making "relics" for final fantasy games (11 and 14 aside) and I have never felt that any of those took too much time. I would rather see it that everyone gets to have a crack at Relics based on logical progression and skill, rather than simply exhorbant amounts of invested time.

When I got my zilart earring, I felt like it was a great accomplishment and a hard fight.... but if I had to go through random repetitious over-and-over activities in the droves, I dont think it would have made me more accomplished... just fatter, older, and wishing I had spent more time doing something else.

I know not everyone will agree with me and that's fine... just my 2 (more like 5 at this point) cents.
