It's unfair for normal weapons to be better than relics, but it's also unfair to have worked hard for a single weapon and never having to worry about getting a better one again.

That's like working really hard to get a job and then just getting a guaranteed position for the rest of your life. It just makes no sense. You gotta keep working on it and keep putting effort into it.
