If they went through the effort to make new animations, and they suck, then that is cause for alarm. Being an apologist isn't going to help SE.
Man, after 3° live letter was an all-range crying because back-pedaling, no stop animation, and so on, while it was very clear they were still unfinished (just look the "running on the place" animation while a pg turn). Why should be different now ? They are clearly better now, but yet far from "finished"
