At least it's good news for you that you can easily change the equipment for something else. It's after all the starter's equipment. And it's not like every equipment in the game is like that. About 95% of the equips are decent and more suitable.

hehe nah, you dont sound mean. I know I can just take it off for something else. Honestly cant say I'm a huge fan of the skirt's texture anyway. Looks like they wrapped red cardboard around the miqo'te's waist then drew folds on it.

I'm glad it was the town and not the outside of the Shroud which we've already seen. Nice to see how Old Gridania has evolved as well as hearing the new tunes. I'm excited!

If you love Limsa, wait for them to show it. If we play through Grid the entire beta then people will hate the crap out of it, just like how people currently hate Limsa for the 1.0 beta.

On topic though:

The game looks absolutely gorgeous IMO.
Lack of animations is whatever, it's alpha and if this community complains enough about anything they'll probably add it.
New music is amazing
