    Loving the way the mini map looks like the one from 12. Also it seems like the scale of the city is more appropriate this time out than it is in 1.0. May just be me but, the buildings looked more to scale and seem less like they were made out of balsa wood. The dock is a nice touch.

    Looks incredibly beautiful, and the music is amazing. My excitement only continues to grow.

    I will, however, jump on the animation hate bandwagon. Not having some sort of "shuffling feet" animation when turning like that seems incredibly tacky. I really hope that's something they address in the beta build.

If they are posting alpha videos on a forum with space available for comments, then I believe they are also up for scrutiny. I'm sure they want to hear both positive and constructive feedback. What's wrong in offering up that?

    Looks really good. I would like to see the NPCs a little less static. FFXII had one of the most dynamic NPC popluations i've ever seen in a game. I know this may be hard to do in an MMO, but even something half that good would make the towns feel much more alive.

    Now if you can get moving (not on the spot) NPC's or NPC Ghosts (NPC's you can't touch/talk) to make it more lively... would be perfect... imo - I know this one was already said that it's hard to do but would still think it would be nice to have them if possible in future.

    They need to add an animation to the character when moving the camera while stationary.
    I can only assume this isn't in because Alpha; but I refuse to start saying "It's alpha they will add it in before launch"... We have already been burned by that mentality before.

    SE: Put in character movement for camera panning with a stationary character. No excuses.

    Nothing wrong with that. i was just offering my opinion of the topic. I wasnt singling anyone out, merely pointing out a new trend i have been seeing since the "Plastic" trailer they released and the Live talk video about animations. as things stand, i think the animations are just fine. if they wish to tweak them between now and launch or even post launch (my preference) thats ok too. i just dont want to see the game held up for something as minor as shuffeling feet or a jump and roll from a high height.
