    I for one am impressed with the how the game has progressed and additional things for the upcoming version 2.0 like the mail and delivery system, the UI, the map design and environments.

    As for the camera control, check this latest ver 2.0 talk session that was held in Japan. It show's Yoshida controlling his character and how he turn the camera 360 degree just like in 1.0.

    Great work Yoshida and his Team on working diligently to get the main game up to par. I know for a fact that once the main fundamental mechanics of FF ARR is release, it will only gets better with new contents in the future such as more end game, classic jobs and more!!!

    Am I the only one that had this thought while watching?

    "Why is he moving the character directly into tha... oh ... no more impenetrable gates!"

    Looks good though , hopefully they put out some 1080p versions at some point as there was a lot of blurring.

    A good example of the camera movement while the character is in motion is just after 13:40 in the video, for those interested.

    The first thing i noticed is that the camera movements are locked on to the characters back. Meaning we would have to right click and turn the screen to see our characters front side. Really not a fan of those sort .....

    the music itself is wonderful. But within the game i feel its not one that would make a lasting impression, like a 'signature' tune. Take windy for example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEWeTsJV5Q4

    quick question; Will the official verison have such a blurry camra turn like in these Alpha Videos? I am wondering cuz it hurts my eyes but other then that looks great!

    Why would you lose love for the game because you can now jump? I understand not wanting FFXIV to be too much like other MMOs out there but jumping is a BASIC necessity that is found in almost any game and should have been found in offline FF games a long time ago. This one is a no-brainer.

    Best possible way Gridania could be presented in all it's glory i'm very impressed only recognized the start of video from 1.0 Gridania lol the rest is fully new i love it ^_^ and the music goes perfect with it.
    ppl need to realize the sluggish moves from 1.0 were just a pebble in their shoe and if we lose them will be a insignificant price to pay for all we getting in exchange

    Very nice! I was worried that everything would change drastically, but it looks like we won't be getting completely lost while exploring the new city. I wonder if the frontier areas will be getting similar treatment.
