I figure that the building near the Aetheryte with all the yellow banners is the new GC headquarters. They probably haven't finished the inside so didn't feature it.

But why on earth does the UI feel compelled to constantly make sure we know we're playing solo? Some aspects were a bit on the noisy side.. all those banners and all were very JUST IN CASE YOU FORGOT YOU'RE IN GRIDANIA. But that aside, some of the new elements, like that dock, really were lovely..
Sad to see the character animations are still suffering a fair bit though .. bleh.
Also good lord that aetherite was a bit.. o.o And the change in music I'm not completely sure I'm comfortable with either..
Still, not so uncomfortable as I feared it'd be I admit. But why on earth does the UI feel compelled to constantly make sure we know we're playing solo? And I hope there'll be a free camera option.. 's bad enough with mouse and keyboard but that'll be horrid as a gamepad user.
People would complain about a cure for cancer.
Judging were we came from, going to and the future, this is a MAJOR upgrade.

Heartless jerk is your words, not mines. . .
Simply pointing out how "petty" some of these complaints are and can be. Would seeing "Solo" all the time on your UI stop you from buying the game? Or my personal fav, Grass!! The world will burn if we don't have good Grass!! (Sorry couldn't resist)
Welcome to The Locker!!
The music makes me feel like
got lost on his way to
and ended up in
I LOVE IT.

Well, I think the point of reminding you that you're playing solo is to make sure that you don't hurt yourself. We've all been there. You're busy doing something, about to engage another enemy, your party member[s] drops, you don't see it and engage, get pwned because you're down a member. I think all things being equal, I'd rather have more info than less.
Oh, and I love the new gridania. Totally agree with the point about the lighting making look like a more relaxing town. Also love the port they put in. No complaints here.

I don't have one complaint..looks amazing!!!!!!! I LOVE the music at the beginning too. omg what a difference! It really felt like Final Fantasy to me. I guess the only thing that kind of bothered me was the poor moogle lol I wanted to take the bag from him hahaBut wow can't wait to see the rest of the game! YAY

maybe I just expect too much from SE but this video and the one before it are just a bucketload of meh to me. Nothing in either of them yet to get me excited. Nothing bad either, so I am still looking forward to ARR, but nothing in them that makes me 'excited'

I also like the zone lines...it took me a while to think of where that was from then it hit me..lol FF12 =D Looks really nice!

Grid looks wonderful! This is a city I want to spend some time in!
I love all of the colors, the sunshine filtering in through the tree canopy, and how each part of town feels unique. Also, nice touch having the character walk through the gate and jump down into the gardens near the Botanists' Guild. I've always wanted to be able to get down there!
This music is straight-up awesome. Masayoshi Soken has outdone himself. SE, please give this man a raise, and don't ever let him get away.
Ding ding! I believe you are right!
That's a good point. Where is all of that water going? My one gripe, it's a minor one, but it just irks me when I see it - and it's the same in 1.0, too...

3 Waterfalls flowing into a tiny pool with nowhere for the water to go. It would be flooding over into the area there.
Yep, that's totally FF12. I think it's a great touch as well.
God, is it ever!
