Looks like a good idea... More space![]()
SE is on to me. ;;>.> i was an ffxi hoarder..... (btw +1 with the character name nice take on that rocker)I can hear the devs now
Rukkirii: Hey guys they want more space
Devs: What? why? Their character and two free retainers can carry 100 items each already. Ok whatever.
*in the future*
Rukkirii: Hey guys i guess they want even more space
Devs: you serious? we already gave them 500 slots per character/retainer
Rukkirii: We're still getting a ton of complaints
Game renamed "Final Hoarders XIV" in the next patch
Joking aside
I think they should change the rate at which items are created/found instead of increasing our inventories more. just my opinion
We definitely need more bag space considering someone leveling multiple jobs (or just using them) has an insane amount of equipment in their bag. Hell I've got 4 sets as it is (Main/Pugilist atm, Other DoW, DoM, crafting/gathering).
Someone in another thread suggested a tackle box for fishers and I think that'd be a great space saver for them.
Honestly I'd be okay doing some kind of insanely hard quest that you need 8 people for or something like that to get more bag space. A reward like more bag space should require some intense effort![]()
sorry can't resist the temptation.
MONKEY!!!! CUTIE MONKEY!!!
sorry love the choice of avatar ;;>.>
ON TOPIC i would to have housing but not only to aid in storage but to have functional furnishings. Aion had a vision trailer for all the updates that may be added to the game 1 update was player housing in residential areas meabing you have a house built that other players can see. You can decorate the inside and outside of it. ( pick a roof style siding style ) Mabinogi also had something similar a residention instanced zone where you saw everyones houses. I kinda would like to see that in ffxiv. With useable furnature. Like you can sit on the chairs or rest on a bed if you have that type of stuff.
@ arcell efff noooo to the needing intense effort for more bag space. gobby bags + spending real money was horrid enough : / and that was for 1 character. try doing gobby bags 13 times. its not fun.
Bag Space is one of the most precious things to an adventurer, we can't just be handing it out for nothing.
Yes I would want more storage on retainers... adding another retainer is for 1$ I think is not a good idea for gamers
More storage is always welcome, especially a permanent bank of some sort. A place to stockpile materials.
It's just Good Business; a good craftsmen or gatherer is also a good Merchant. And every Merchant needs a Warehouse.
And the combat guys need space for all the different weapon and armor layouts they have to run with, not just room for loot. Heck, I'd even be fine if they added containers like pouches, etc. that let you store multiple items in one inventory slot... it'd make organizing easier too.
But what I miss, is some of the old FF magic. Why does SE refuse to give us more than one character per account? This is just insane!
I'll take a Mog House, thankyou very much, and room for up to 7 characters which all share that same House and use it as a common bank. And I expect to see the characters I'm not currently controlling wandering around doing stuff IN my Mog House, too. And be able to switch without logging out. Toss in some furnishings while they're at it.
Really.
The multi-playable character party has been one of the Hallmarks of the FF series from the beginning, and it was bad enough to have to deal without it in XI but I was able to get over it.. sort of. Come on SE, bring back our party setup, and let us take a few of our chars along with us as NPC's. It'll help with our solo games, and make the Party experience Epic.
It will even provide a use for the Surname our chars have; pick one surname that they all have to share.
