First thing to do when in ARR...

1. Set up Retainers and get stuff organized a bit.
2. Explore the world - get aetheryte points
3. Level Arcanist - and work on main storyline in the process

Other stuff I'll fit in the gaps:

• Titan/Garuda/Ifrit battles
• Carpentry
• Botanist
• New dungeons

1. Spend way too much time in char creation than any normal person should.
2. Locate LS, take group pix.
3. Gleefully take pictures of my Miqote male character while sightseeing until I pass out.
4. Talk to as many NPC's as possible.
5. Sort inventory for several hours.
6. Start Exping from level 1 if possible probably crafting but not sure.

start on new server, in europe, preferably scandinavian/german, (englishspeaking thoguh). Start an arcanist, make carbuncle a tank pet, using my own dots to finish enemies of. Starting a miner and armorer, get armorer to 50 through leves, miner to 50 through ... mining. Level fishing and sell shards made from alchemy. Get good economy early and get a good start on the game again mostly ^^ Im looking forward to try it from scratch though im of course keeping my main character and stays in contact with my ls ^^

Also I thought it was a modular type thing you get through grand company quests/rank.

Set up a retainer. Assess the state of the micro-economy in my server, identify market trends (or set them. Guessing anything related to Summoner or Arcanist yet not forgetting farming rare mats for miscellaneous items) and making sure to capitalize on what generate the most income. Then, I think I'll afk.

Impressive! Now that is a true marketeer I didn't even think about economy, excellent idea.

What is the first thing/objective that you want to do once we get to play ARR (most likely the Beta) in-game? For me, it's to explore and see what my character can do. I have my other jobs and classes below Lv50, so I've got a lot of things I want to do. I may switch from PLD39 to BRD35 and go slap-happy with shooting monsters by using no ammunition That's why I left ARC/BRD at Lv35 because I hated paying for the ammo lol

So what does everyone else want to do?
