    how class/jobs should be imo

    classes should not be able to cross class skills. Instead Classes should receive class only skills, 1 ever 10 lvls like jobs. But unlike jobs class's will share these skills. They would be generic skills aimed at increasing survivability for solo and small party play.

    some skills that class's already have would become job skill's to make room for these class only skills.

    when you change to a job your stats would be changed dramatically to suit that job. You would lose your class only skills and receive job skills. Since you just lost 5 class skills you would get 10 job skills instead of 5 making jobs that much more independent then classes.

    jobs would still be able to cross class 2 subs.




    maybe these class onry skills can be quested and bought from various nps. maybe there can be 10-20 skills you can purchase but only equip so many. w/e.

    i think sould just drop whole class thing and just have jobs with sub jobs

    not that i know of. all i have heard is that there will be alot of changes with the actions and that mages are supposed to get additional spells.

    They've been pretty quiet about classes/jobs for ARR. I hope it's something they can touch on during the live letter.

    This is pretty unlikely. They already reformed the mage spells in 1.0 specifically to streamline them so that we have fewer but more useful spells as opposed to a lot of spells that we only ever use half of.

    yoshi already said mages would get many more spells in 2.0, the question is how many.

    I think BLM should have access to all schools of magic rather than just three, without having to be on THM. I can understand trimming down the elemental debuffs such as Choke, Burn, etc. but constantly spamming Thunder over and over and over gets tiresome. It's even more annoying when you're fighting something that is resistant to it and your fallback is fire or crappy Blizzard.
