actually your path companion will be missing in the release of ARR and appear back a bit later....![]()

I've been rewatching the scenes too to indulge in my love of storyline content. What is interesting and something I don't yet have an answer for is that in the opening scenes/quests for Ul'dah there are NPCs that seem to defy the current state of things with the Goldsmith storyline...

Beware if you're going to try to record all of them.. my 2TB hd is plugged with these things! Only have about 800gb left haha. But its worth it.
Here's another one I made to showcase the music..but also the cutscene :3

You know, all cutscenes are readily viewable on www.finalfantasyxivcutscenes.com
I don't know who's behind the site, but they laid out all the cutscenes in a pretty nice format.

Ahh that's sort of what I was doin with archiving mine haha.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again; I would buy a single player FFXIV as Basically as a recap of the pre VIIth UE storyline.
Seriously SE, XIV has an amazing story, and I would love to visit the locales of Eorzea in a single player experience, with the The Circle of Knowing as playable characters. It could even be a precursor, showing how they effected the VIth UE coming in. Sharlayan would be a really cool locale, and slowly building up until the fall of Dalamud.

Unfortunately for me my Nvidia card was one of the cards that crashed during almost every cutsceneeven using the options to turn of things and driver fixes nothing ever worked... the game ran beautifully except during cutscenes and in the cities where it would crash out...
