I agree to the Idea of putting Leve Restriction to Behests. Like a few ranks from the Camp (Upper and Lower)

/Sign. It gets pretty annoying having R10-14 people doing behest at Horizon, especially since it's already crowded as is and it takes away spots others could use.
is behest at other camps at other levels or only certain camps. Maybe people do then cuz well... it beats being bored. Besiged in ffxi wasn't restricted. some people just like having something else to do or watch.
Honestly the only griefers are the ones who like restricting everyone from everything. (elitists basically)
similar issue is going on in dcuo. ppl are petitioning the raid que system thinking solo qu for raiding was stupid.

Think about this will also mean for years to come. The PS3 release hits stores around North America, Japan, Europe. Now you feel like leveling another job you never bothered with before. You go to a camp to join in Behest to help with leveling and make some new friends, only a couple of rank ~10's decide to join in, and the Behest hits the 15/15 cap.
Now you just wasted an hour, while someone else gets to leech and contributes nothing to the party. Or the first expansion hits. That awesome job you've been waiting for is finally released. But you spend hours and hours sitting at camp, run out of leves for that camp, and now just solo grind to level instead of getting some great experience from Behest.
Just additional food for thought. Unless you really like waiting for an hour for Behest and not getting in.
well on one hand i do like soloing behests that are lower rank camps because they can be decent sp.
on the other hand I saw a level 1 doing behests at camp horizon the other day. :|
All things considered how they can easilly scale gear down anyways with none of the being locked "yet" it would be pretty easy in Behest to cap higher lvl players to the "max level" for a Behest area.
typical elistis reply. sorry seen this so much.==Following message was also edited into original post. If you already read it feel free to skip this.==

I asked a pretty decent question. first off does every camp do behest. If not that is why ppl are there, just to do something other then levequests.
Also years to come party grinding will be better. So chances are ppl will not level the same as right now.
one of the bigger issues is no one is teaching anyone about anything. Like party search. Which is why not many ppl party outside of LS's.
Sorry these are things to consider. First.
You are right about how people may level in the future, but the whole idea of behest isn't exactly going to be scrapped from the game. What this thread is about is making it easier to level so people won't gimp the sp. There are several fixes to this kind of situation that could also fix future plans and implementations of events or instances similar to behest. Why not test out these ideas now and build up on it?I asked a pretty decent question. first off does every camp do behest. I was on a R28 class last night, and I was near Bloodshore when Behest was starting. So I signed up. There was a level 20ish dude there that also signed up. I invited him and there was no problem.
The only problem there is currently is when a character that is leveled much higher than the Behest decides to grief a lower level behest. SE can't police everyone's behavior. And when they add restrictions, it can interfere with legitimate players that are willing to cooperate. Say you're R28... well, if there's no one else at a R30 camp to do behest with, you can't really solo it. So you have no choice but to go to a lower level one.
If they were to put a restriction, I would say you can't participate in Behests more than 10 Ranks lower than you. And additionally, I would allow for a level sync if you are more than 10 ranks above.
