I agree with this post. Also regarding "Behest" I think there needs to be minimum and max ranks for each behest. Like most if not all have seen people doing behest in R20 or R30 areas...while they are only R11. >_> It's very frustrating. ><
Why not just make it so that if someone switches to a job outside of the specified range, they receive no sp/reward? Does there really need to be an elaborate lock-out system?
To clarify, if the behest is r10-20 range and you switch to from a r12 job to r11 it's still fine and you receive sp when mobs are killed. But if you switch from r12 to r9 or r21, the mobs killed during the time you were on those jobs will net you no sp and you wouldn't receive the reward at the end.
There really should be a system for that.
Maybe the SP should favor those who joins within an Otimal Rank, so that not everyone is dumped down because of one Low Rank.
I agree with this. It is simple and to the point. It could use the same basic mechanism that the Guild Mark levequests do when they determine that a player earns no Guild Marks because they were not the correct class during the quest. Why not just make it so that if someone switches to a job outside of the specified range, they receive no sp/reward? I think that when you talk to the npc you should be in the class that you want to play, after that you should't be able to switch. Also, there should be rank restrictions.
And another thing, we should have a camp for 43+ there are people from 30 to 49 doing behest at BW![]()
Since you are lowering behest participants to 8, why not let people make their own parties and decide their own level restrictions if they choose so. And why not let these parties take on behest whenever they want rather than getting locked out. Too many restrictions in place, people just want to level and get Skill Points.

Just make it so you cannot change class during Behast, inform people they need to be on the class they want to register as before hand and they sign up on this class, then you can check if they're higher or lower, i think FOV is similar if you change class during a FOV it cancels out, so i dont see why this cannot be applied to behast? Either restrict it or say changing class will remove you from behast.
Just treat the Behest like you're in combat, can't switch classes. It's really not inconvenient at all, unless someone wants to abuse the system like that. The only switch you should be allowed, and possibly forced, to make is the change from a low rank or non-combat class to an appropriate rank class.
This is a pretty simple change imo.
Behest I 3-13
Behest II 13-23
Behest III 23-33
Behest IV 33-43
Behest V 43-50 (yes you need to add a new behest set in for R43+
Very simple and easy restrictions. That make sense. 3, 13, 23, 33, 43 is when you you get access to leves at higher tiered camps and 10 ranks later new camps open up. So restrict it in line with the way the leve system works.

and with no rank 50 behests it just wont work
+-7 works better if there was a 50 behest, otherwise +-10
