Memories of Eorzea Contest (NA) - Entry Thread

I tried to get a few friends to join me on my adventures, but out of the couple dozen friends I asked, many who tried before me and eventually gave up, my ex-boyfriend stayed the longest. This screenshot was the moment when he admitted he'll stay around until A Realm Reborn, and we talked about being awesome white mages and raiding all of the things together. I gave him two months of playtime, but he didn't last for more than a week and says he's no longer interested in A Realm Reborn. A heartbreaking memory, but I still hope 2.0 is amazing.

i had heard a rumor that stones with the symbols of the The Twelve on them had been found in Eorzea, so i went on a journey to find them all. This was before the quest "Living on a Prayer" came out.

I've always been a loner when it comes to games with small communites but even in my eternal lonliness and with the threat of Dalamud fast approaching I'll take time to enjoy the beauty still left in this world. Farewell to Eorzea of old and welcome to the Eorzea yet to come, I will await you with open arms (and possibly chloroform)!



Oddly enough it's what I did in XI alot too just alot less lonely. :P

This is a pic of me and my ls mates relaxing on the beach after a successful skirmish on Turtleback Isle. I like how dynamic the sky was back in the summer. This last month has been hectic in the rush to finish up content but I look at this screenshot as a reminder to take time to enjoy the little things.

After coming together with a group of guys and beating one of if not the hardest fight in the game without any relics, darklight or even garuda weapons we felt like there was only one way to show off our new earrings....and thats with a bit of (mega)flare!

So I was looking through all my pics since launch and I could have put funny moments or glitches,
times with friends that have come and gone or even my pics of The End.
But I found this picture and I remembered how awesome this was...
The very first time I met Neal Van Darnus....





This was taken at Camp Horizon, and I know my name is over his but I was trying to take it quick >_< lol
He was speaking in /say asking for us Adventurers to turn in Urianger, the prophet who was going camp to camp
speaking of the impending doom we are in right now.
Neal was saying to everyone how the Empire is not gonna hurt us and if we help him "Deliver Urianger's head on a silver plate." that we would be rewarded beyond our imagination. And after a little more talk he vanished.

When I saw this picture I was like "yea for sure entering that" It was really cool cause at that moment we didn't know who he was
And now look where we are, it's kinda trippy lol I have plenty of memorable moments but this is just one of many ^_^

I took this image over 2 years ago. Out of all the screenshots I have in my folder, this is still by far my favorite screenshot.

A lot of things have change since I first stepped foot in Eorzea. I've seen friends and enemies come and go. If you would have told me 2 years ago the world would change I would of laughed, but here I am now sitting under Dalamud as I wait for the end.

In a way, I don't mind. Sure things weren't the best at the start, but looking back I wouldn't trade those days for anything. I look forward to 2.0, I look forward to even more memories good or bad.

I think the reason why I like this screenshot so much was because it was one of the first pictures I took of this game. I found this pretty spot in La Noscea and decided to take a shot. There wasn't really much of a reason, whenever I look at it, it gives me a bit of comfort. No matter what changes, at least something remains and for me that's my eyepatch. For the last 2 years I've been wearing an eyepatch over my left eye, very rarely taking it off and I shall continue to wear it for as long as I remain in Hydaelyn.

My favorite memories of every game always include travelling the world with my friends. This adventure took Verde and I several hours and we acquired quite a few bumps and bruises on the way! In the end, though, our perseverance paid off. We found these really great ruins! It was located in the north eastern tip of the Black Shroud.

I took this picture of not playing FFXIV for two years. I came back leveled my Monk to 50, Then moved on to CNJ,
I always enjoyed the way This gear set look. There for its my favorite outfit type in the game.
