its so hard to believe someone didn't madly work on the relic, or work on it at all, quest because they didnt want to :/

I didn't want to because there are other fun games where "working" towards an item is actually fun and not the most boring, monotonous thing ever.
Yeah, I said it.
They just want to delude themselves into thinking that because they have some pixels that I do not, that somehow makes them better people. It's ok, it's common to biploar folks or people with other mental disorders. It's called Delusions of Grandeur.

Anyway you know what would be an awesome 1.0 parting gift? A deal that lets us pay less, play more, put our name in their credits, and then also let us have unique opportunities that will never happen again - including the end of the world and 10000% exp rate parties.
Oh.. wait..
Funny enough, that's more of a slap in the face to many more people than it is to keep a free relic lol. (Legacy stuff)Man I am so awesome, and I know more then anyone else.

I wonder how many people are playing right now that dont have Legacy (seriously asking).
Would be fun statistics for SE to release lol. When I was playing hound dog in the legacy threads I always wondered if I was just talking for 1 person or 100/more.
Depending on entry time the nonlegacy reward was:
Leve gil, easy garuda, Atomos seals/gil, goobbue, horn, earings, PL parties, no level syncs, cheap box (~10$ if you joined late), achievements, exclusive quests and end of the world experience. .

I didn't like the randomness of the Hamlet pre-req and having to get a minimum of 72 seals for one group of people. Others in my LS did it, I just didn't care to participate in it. I don't know how it'll change in 2.0, but hopefully there will be less RNG and time sinks and just more skill required, because I can deal with that.
I didn't like that fact that because of the mechanics you mentioned, you needed to spam hamlet continuously for weeks on end just to flag the relic quest. I like to change up what I'm doing in-game from day to day. I did it for a couple days a week for a few weeks and only got one seal to show for it. We even got 60k+ reliably with no provisioner. That's not my idea of fun.I didn't like the randomness of the Hamlet pre-req and having to get a minimum of 72 seals for one group of people. you said as soon as relic quest came out you had a LS meeting and your LS decided that it did not need the best weapons in game. Now you say that you tried to get seals and even went so far as to get a provisioner and then quit cause it took to long. Smells like tuna fish to me.I didn't like that fact that because of the mechanics you mentioned, you needed to spam hamlet continuously for weeks on end just to flag the relic quest.
