i heard somewhere(cant recall source) that yoshi was surprised about how easily relics were be gotten and was gonna look into it. could mean anything, could also mean i heard wrong.

I think what yoshi was reffering to was the way people will farm mythrils and salts in excess so that they ultimately end up getting there second / third relics just a couple of days after completeing there first because they can skip huge chunks of the quests the next times through.
