This is a stupid thread. If you can safely delete your character and have it return in 2.0, as stated by a forum rep, you won't be able to keep the relic you found under your bed after the save.

Lol, you know that SE will NEVER, EVER allow this, right? I got 5 relics already. Keeping them would be an enormous punch in the face to those that actually worked for em.

That said, I wouldn't be opposed to some sort of persistent reward to those that decided to stay and fight after the last save. Maybe a bit of progression towards the relic itself?

I had no relics before the save, but I do plan on working on them come 2.0. I don't think we will get to keep them but it's funny to see how many people actually want that free ticket.

Lol I love all the people that already have one, or apparently have the time to "work" (because working and undane amount of time to earn something in a game we all pay for is so much fun) towards the item are the ones screaming NO!!?@?!@>?E@:#R

Who gives a sh*t? It's a game and these people are actually playing it. I wouldn't care one bit. People are always worried about being better than everyone else, and it's so boring to me.

The irony is the people who have one are getting the rest for free as well lol. The other ironic thing is, we have under 15k players, far less during last week most likely based on Japanese data, so even if SE gave us a freebie, it'll affect so few of the ARR population it won't even matter in the long run.
