After thoroughly investigating the matter, the development team has deemed this to be a problem, and they are currently investigating for the source of this trouble. I recommend keeping posted to either http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/forums/140 or http://lodestone.finalfantasyxiv.com/ for further developments regarding this matter.
