For those of you sticking around in Eorzea, in between our almost impossible battles with the forces of darkness, have you ever just sat right in front of your computer and not do anything, but just to soak in the very atmosphere that prevails Eorzea now?

There is one voice that you cannot escape from (unless you are one of those who turn off the in-game music and put on the <insert kind of music you'd rather listen to while playing a game>).. and that is the voice of Susan Calloway, singer of "Answers", the main theme song of FF XIV, composed by Nobuo Uematsu.

In light of the end of FF XIV 1.0, do show your support for her by thanking her (leave a comment like I just did!) and subscribing to her Youtube page (link above). I'm sure a few of you would have been lucky enough to catch her sing the song live at a Final Fantasy "Distant Worlds" concert in your city. If not...there's always Youtube... here:

Ok dubstep was just an example... everyone listens to different stuff.
I guess I'm just one of those few individuals who actually DON'T get tired listening to in-game music over and over again. I'm seriously not kidding. I even have some of the FF XIV tracks (Twilight over Thanalan, Good King Moggle battle music, Nael von Darnus battle music) in my mp3 player and will have them on repeat for quite a while when I head out for a run (or a marathon!).

That's not true for me. I average about three to four hours of gameplay per day. It has been the same for almost every other FF game that I've played. I have tracks from VI, VII, X, XII (I didn't play XI) and XIII in my phone that I still listen to over and over again.

I'm sorry for being a weirdo.

One of my friends is a rabid fan of Susan, interesting that she has a youtube channel.

That said I always operate the game with the in-game music muted. 90% of the time I have a playlist of the game's OST going on, though XD
I just don't like the audio of the game itself.
